The program is an 11-11-11 community program with a mission to provide outstanding training for Family Medicine residents by providing excellent patient care in an atmosphere of mutual support and trust. The group boasts a passion for service at a hospital that is growing its academic footprint, and has a proud history of training caring, competent family physicians for over 50 years. They are seated in the heart of the Florida Panhandle.  This position provides great learning opportunities across demographics and pathologies and in multiple learning environments, both urban and rural.

The Community:
Near but far from the castles and crowds of Disney, lies another magical place in the Sunshine State – one with a fascinating past, a diverse population, a buzzing political center, and great pride. Often described as “The Other Florida” with its deep-rooted history, rolling hills, mild climate, southern-style hospitality and canopy roads of moss-draped oaks.

The city is a medium-sized city with a vibrant academic and artistic community complemented by old-fashioned charm. The city is located in the central northwest panhandle region of Florida, 30 minutes north of the Gulf of Mexico.

A great place to live. A better place to practice!!
