Nocturnist Hospitalist – Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

A well-established, physician-led health system in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Nocturnist Hospitalist to join a growing team at a full-service community hospital. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with a manageable patient volume and access to full specialty backup. New graduates and Visa candidates are welcome to apply.

Position Highlights:

• Employed by a large, regional health system serving eastern North Carolina
• Practice at a 142-bed hospital with an active medical staff representing 20+ specialties
• 7 nights on / 7 nights off schedule (7p–7a)
• Average total inpatient census: 45
• Average night admissions: 6–8
• 10-bed ICU with short-term vent management; ICU procedures preferred, but not required
• Team includes 8 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers
• Experienced and supportive nursing and clinical staff
• Full specialty support including:
  Oncology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Behavioral Health, Urology, and Rheumatology
