A leading regional health system in the Florida Panhandle is seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an established team and lead an Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line. This is a key leadership opportunity within a growing quaternary care program that blends community-based care with academic involvement.
Position Highlights

- Join 3 experienced cardiothoracic surgeons supported by 5 APPs
- Call: 1:4
- Compensation: Base salary + uncapped wRVUs
Scope of Practice
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Adult Cardiac Surgery
- On- and off-pump CABG
- Mitral valve repair
- Participation in an active TAVR program
- Arrhythmia surgery
- Open & endovascular aortic surgery, including dissection repair
- Comprehensive thoracic surgery, including:
• Minimally invasive lung resections
• Transhiatal esophagectomy
• Complex anti-reflux procedures - Experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgery strongly preferred
- Prior leadership or program-building experience is a plus
Cardiovascular Team Composition
- 5 Interventional Cardiologists
- 8 Non-Invasive/Imaging Cardiologists
- 3 Electrophysiologists
- 4 Cardiothoracic Surgeons
- 2 Vascular Surgeons
- 11 Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physicians
