GI Hospitalist Opening | Live & Work in the Florida Panhandle
Hospital in the Florida Panhandle is seeking a BC/BE Inpatient Gastroenterologist (GI Hospitalist). This position will be responsible for all In-Patient GI Procedures as well as In-Patient rounding. The ideal physician would be able to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. This service is supported by 2 Full-Time, experienced In-Patient GI Nurse Practitioners, who do the bulk of the rounding and consult with the physician as needed or directed. The hospital has roughly 500 In-Patient Acute Beds, including a 72 bed ICU and Large, dedicated Endoscopy Suite. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, covering the service for 24 hours. The expectation is 7a-5p in the hospital, with coverage by phone after hours. This service works along with our community GI Physicians to serve the patients of North Florida.
The hospital offers the most advanced endoscopic procedures in North Florida and South Georgia. Whether it’s removing precancerous tumors in the digestive tract or placing stents that allow patients to eat again, our expert endoscopic surgeons offer a variety of gastrointestinal treatments.
Schedule: 7 Days on 7 Days off.

Requirements: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in their specialty. Candidates must be able to obtain a Florida License.
