Internal Medicine/ Family Medicine Hospitalist Opportunity — 7 On / 7 Off Swing Shift

Build your hospital medicine career with a growing inpatient team in a vibrant Gulf Coast community offering an attractive schedule, collaborative environment, and the opportunity to care for a diverse, medically complex patient population.

The Opportunity

• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM swing shift
• Approximately 6–8 admissions per shift
• No procedures required
• Focus on higher-acuity and medically complex patients
• Serve as an admitting, attending, and consulting physician
• Assist with call coverage for existing hospitalized patients during a portion of the overnight shift
• Work closely with nocturnists and the broader hospitalist team
• Opportunity to participate in medical education, research, and academic activities
• Collaborative environment focused on quality, safety, and efficient patient care
• Experienced physicians only

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree, or equivalent
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited U.S. Internal Medicine residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for Alabama medical licensure
• Commitment to high-quality, team-based inpatient care
