This established medical group seeks an Electrophysiology Cardiologist to be part of an exceptional opportunity within our well-established, highly regarded Cardiology Division. This position will support the increase in current patient volumes. Successful candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology. The ideal candidate will be able to provide services in support of full spectrum cardiovascular testing including; treatments with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, TAVR, PVI ablations, ICD and CRT-D implantation, non-invasive testing services, cardiac rehabilitation, an arrhythmia with left atrial appendage occlusion (Watchman) and advanced cardiac imaging. The busy, well-established Cardiology program at seeking an additional BC/BE Electrophysiology trained Cardiologist to join 2 other hospital-employed EP Cardiologists. Supporting Cardiologists in this program provide comprehensive general and invasive/interventional services so that our EP Cardiologists can focus on EP procedures.   • Opportunity to join 2 established EP Cardiologists and 3 APP's
  • Clinic is located on Medical Center campus for easy access to Cath Lab, ICU, etc.
  • Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 3pm, closed 12-1pm for lunch every day
  • State-of-the-art Cath Lab with 3 reading rooms
  • Support for EP studies, right and left sided ablations, AF and VT ablations, pacers, CRT, and heart failure devices
  • Large patient referral base from tri-state area, including 13 counties in AL, FL, and GA
  • Robust medical Hospitalist program for assistance with admissions and general medical management
  • Established Cardiovascular Surgery and Radiology groups who provide in-house support
  Practice Highlights:
  • Opportunity to join an established Interventional Cardiologist and 6 NP's
  • Some General Cardiology call required, but is shared with 8 other Cardiologists
  • Clinic hours are Monday–Thursday 8am - 5pm
  • Clinic is located within the Doctor's building attached to the Medical Center for easy access to Cath Lab, ICU, etc.
  • State-of-the-art Cath Lab with 3 reading rooms
  • Robust Cardiac rehab program with pulmonary function component
  • 56 total ICU beds with a 14-bed CVICU/progressive care unit

The Department of Pathology at this medical school is currently seeking a Pediatric Pathologist. Candidates must have and MD or DO degree or equivalent, BC/BE in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (or Anatomic Pathology), and must have completed a pediatric pathology fellowship training program. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.. The Department of Pathology serves a Hospital (Level I Trauma Center), a Children's and Women's Hospital (currently building a state of art Emergency Room which will open early 2024), a cancer center, a Patient Care Center, a free-standing ED, and multiple clinics throughout the greater coastal area The clinical laboratories of the health system perform over 3 million tests/year. The transfusion medicine section is accredited by the AABB and College of American Pathologists (CAP). This area is also responsible for providing transfusion consultation services for high-risk surgeries and ob-gyn operations. We perform approximately 40 pediatric autopsies/year and about 4000 pediatric surgical cases. Molecular/next generation sequencing, immunohistochemistry, FISH, and electron microscopy laboratories are part of the sophisticated menu oftests available. The Department has a combined residency training program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with 12 residents and fellowship training programs.
