This hospital system is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join our 15-surgeon general surgery group, including dedicated bariatric, colorectal, surgical oncology, and trauma/critical care specialists. Applicants should be able to perform broad-based general surgery procedures as well as all procedures related to breast surgery. Practice is 80% breast with Trident intra-operative x-ray, in-office ultra sound, and in-house breast center with Aurora Breast MRI and automated whole breast ultrasound. Other features are Savi Scout partial breast radiation and indocyanine green for sentinel node detection and flap vascularization. Some general surgery as outpatient and – on call for acute. Physicians averaging 12-17 surgeries a week. Surgeons cover a single large referral hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center. The group is the only general surgery group at the hospital, has very low turnover, and is surgeon-led. Surgeons are very busy and share call responsibilities equally.
