  • Board Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA)
  • Active participation in MOCA 2.0 with continuous maintenance of certification
  • Minimum of three (3) years of documented educational and/or administrative leadership experience acceptable to the ACGME Review Committee
  • Demonstrated scholarly activity through publications, curriculum development, educational innovation, quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, or other meaningful academic contributions.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience serving as a Residency Program Director or Associate Program Director within an ACGME-accredited Graduate Medical Education (GME) program
  • Expertise in curriculum development, resident recruitment and selection, ACGME Common Program Requirements, resident evaluations, Milestone reporting, Clinical Competency Committee participation, Annual Program Evaluation, and institutional accreditation reporting
Physicians with substantial Graduate Medical Education experience who have not yet served in a formal Program Director or Associate Program Director role are also encouraged to apply. Practice Environment

  • Annual ED volumes ranging from 20,000 to 65,000 visits

Schedule

This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a physician-led ICU environment while collaborating closely with cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons in the care of complex postoperative patients. Clinical Scope
